Artist's Comments
Ok, this is going to take some explaining ... o.O
First off, I'm a HUGE fan of animation. Some of my favorites are Finding Nemo, Happy Feet, Over the Hedge, Open Season, The Shreks ... but my current, ABSOLUTE favorite is Disney Pixar's Cars. Second off, considering my tablet hath died, all of my art is either pencil/paper sketch or something digital in which I can use a touchpad without straining a brain muscle with frustration. Third off, I was bored. So this is mah family! I took my favorite car and my dad's favorite car and gave them mouths and eyes like ours (I'm the '98 Camaro in the bottom right corner and my dad is the '70 Chevelle in the upper left). Then, I took my mom's current car ... the one she BEGGED for for so long (even though her's is blue) ... the Jeep Wrangler, and gave it a mouth (which was hard as hell and I'm still not happy with it) and her eyes. Then, considering my brother has ALWAYS loved like "muscle trucks" that have been jacked up with huge tires and such, and he's 17yrs old and 6'6'', I found the biggest truck I could and gave it a mouth and HIS eyes. Hence, my family, Cars style. I need a new hobby. *runs off to do her overdue chemistry homework* P.S. No I don't own Cars. Yes, this effect has been done better. Bottom line, I was indeed bored and didn't feel like taking all that much time with this. |
